TED University Offers Generous Scholarships for Pakistani Students

TED University in Ankara announces extensive scholarships, TED University officials on Sunday, May 12 offered significant scholarships on quality education in 23 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs to the Pakistani students, enrolling for the Fall 2024 semester. In a recent Devcom-Pakistan webinar, officials from TED University detailed the scholarship offerings and other benefits for new enrollees from Pakistan.
During the Devcom-Pakistan webinar on Sunday, officials from TED University’s international programs announced that new TED University will provide scholarships ranging from 25% to 100%, based on students' academic achievements and other credentials. Remarkably, Pakistani students will not need to take the GRE or English language tests for admission. Can Öney, from TED University's International Programs Office, emphasized the university's reputation as one of Ankara's top educational institutions, known for its highly qualified faculty and robust student support services.
He told the audience the graduate programs include applied data science, architecture and urban studies, civil engineering, computer engineering, developmental-focused clinical child and adolescent psychology, economics, economics and finance, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, engineering management, English language education, industrial engineering, interactive computing and information systems, management in educational institutions, migration studies, and psychological counseling and guidance.
Oney said that Currently, about 5,000 students are enrolled at TED University, benefiting from a favorable faculty-to-student ratio of 24:1, which ensures personalized guidance. Students also have opportunities for joint projects, academic studies, and scientific research alongside faculty members. The university's Directorate of Research, Technology, and Innovation supports student involvement in various research projects, including 84 research projects, 44 nationally funded projects, 23 internationally funded projects, and 100 industry projects to date.
Haares Munir, Head of the International Student Community at TED University, highlighted the supportive and welcoming environment for Pakistani students. He noted the university's comprehensive health, sports, and recreational facilities, as well as discounted or free meals. Munir emphasized the importance of learning the Turkish language to better integrate and communicate with locals, enhancing the overall study experience.
Devcom-Pakistan Executive Director Munir Ahmed pointed out the deep-rooted historical and cultural ties between Turkey and Pakistan, underlining the significance of student exchange programs in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
Levent Ocal, Head of TED University's International Programs Office, expressed gratitude towards Pakistani families for entrusting their children's education to Turkey, reaffirming the strong sense of brotherhood between the two nations.
