On Tuesday night, while filming a video during the excitement of the T20 World Cup, Saad was allegedly shot by a security guard at Serena mobile market, amidst the excitement of the T20 World Cup, Saad was reportedly shot by a security guard at Serena mobile market while recording a video. Witness accounts suggest that the 24 year old was shooting content related to the cricket match and engaging with local vendors when he approached the guard, Gul Hassan, for a discussion about the video, leading to the tragic incident.

According to reports in Geo News, the 24 year old Saad was creating content about the cricket match by talking to shopkeepers. Eyewitnesses claim he approached the security guard, Gul Hassan, to discuss the video, when Hassan opened fire.

The reason for the shooting is unclear. The guard, originally from Waziristan, reportedly faced a language barrier and may not have received proper security training.

Saad's father, Mukhtiar Ahmed, has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the security guard, the security company, and the mobile market administration. The FIR claims Saad had permission to film.
