Helldivers 2 community starts a new battle to reinstate community manager

Since the Helldivers 2 community's battle against the game's publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment's PSN account linking policy, the community has hence, united front against the firing of the game's discord community manager "Spitz".

Spitz was the CM, who, told the community that leaving mass negative steam reviews and refunds would be an effective way to convince Sony to overturn their decision. Which in fact did happen, as Sony backed down on its decision, but it seems that this war wasn't without casualties. On the official Helldivers 2 Discord channel, Spitz revealed that they are no longer an Arrowhead community manager, and they are not working for the studio anymore in any capacity. Since the announcement, players have started a petition for the reinstatement of Spitz. The petition states that Spitz was the reason many players felt optimistic to return to the game.

Arrowhead is yet, to comment on the situation or clarify the reasons for Spitz's removal.
